Lauren Dickinson Clarke Beware of the Wear Trap Dinner Plate
This gloriously whimsical design is inspired by Lauren’s time working in the peculiar world of fashion. ‘Beware of the Wear Trap’ was an expression used to warn others away from celebutantes, usually ones on the prowl for free garments to wear to their next stylish soirée.
The bear trap in this illustration symbolises the trappings of fashion and (dare we say it...) narcissism.
Oh but this is so much more than just a plate... This is a tool of creative expression don't you know! One which has been designed to arouse conversation, excite the imagination and elevate everyday interactions into a whimsical and artistic experience.
This finely crafted piece has been made by some of the finest artisans in England. Many of whom have been shaping Fine Bone China for over 50 years. Lauren takes immense pleasure in working with these talented craftsmen to produce wares which are held to the highest standards of craftsmanship & imagination.
Our decadent plates look simply sublime when adorning walls & mantels, as well as dining room tables. They can also be mixed and matched with other LDC tableware, freeing you to become the artist of your table & create your own unique dining setting.
