Welcome. Each LDC piece isn't pulled from a shelf; it's made just for you. It’s an intimate process, a little bit sacred. This means our approach to shipping and returns reflects the bespoke, personal nature of our work. Please read the following to understand our promise to you.

Lauren Dickinson Clarke reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your use of the Site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the updated Terms. For this reason, we encourage you to review this page whenever you use this website.

Our Made-to-Order Philosophy & Returns Policy

Each piece from our studio is an intimate creation, handcrafted especially for you upon receiving your order. This bespoke process ensures the highest possible quality and means your item is uniquely, irrevocably yours.

This isn't just about luxury; it's about principle. By creating on demand, we stand against the wastefulness of mass production. There is no excess stock, no unsold inventory, and no contribution to landfill. Your purchase is a deliberate act, a vote for considered craftsmanship and a more sustainable way of consuming.

Because of this personal and environmental commitment, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind. We ask that you choose your piece carefully, as your order immediately begins a custom creation process that is both personal and purposeful.

Damages & Faulty Items

Your satisfaction, however, is paramount. We take immense pride in our craftsmanship, and the arrival of a faulty piece is a predicament we take very seriously.

In the unlikely event that your item arrives with a defect or fault, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can evaluate the issue. To be eligible for a replacement, your item must be in the same unused condition that you received it in.

How to Report an Issue

Should you need to report a fault, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Email us at studio@laurendickinsonclarke.com with the subject line "Faulty Item Report: Order #[Your Order Number]".
  2. Provide Details: In your email, please include a brief description of the issue and attach clear photographs of the fault. This is essential for us to assess the damage and process your request swiftly.
  3. Await Our Response: We will review your claim and get back to you promptly with instructions on how to proceed. If your claim is accepted, we will be swift to make it right, typically by sending a replacement piece.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Please note that in addition to our made-to-order policy, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
